This project demonstrated reactions and interactions to sound inputs.
In response to sound values registered by a computer, flowers appeared and, like fireworks, burst quickly into an almost instant full-boom on the big rear projection screen set up at IAC building. Instead of computer graphics, I decided to render the flowers to show an expressive and natural image of flowers, using the fluid, seeping tones of watercolors, one of my favorite mediums. It was a way to combine in one piece both the technology of the big screen and a more traditional, painterly method.
