Waves : Sculpture clay, High-Fire glazes / Wheel throwing and transformation / 1250 °C /diameter : 30.31″ height : 12.6″
The hole in the fin can function as a water fountain. I expressed the image of a mysterious mermaid from a fairy tale that I like. The caudal fin is decorated with sparkling Cubics and beads. In contrast to Occidental images and motifs of mermaids, I showed the surrounding wave using the shapes of a traditional Oriental wave pattern.
